DENVER -- Six nurses from HealthOne hospitals, four nurses each from UCHealth and Centura Health facilities, and two each from Children's Hospital Colorado, Denver Health, Regis University and SCL Health are among 24 nurses honored Saturday, April 1, at 2017 Colorado Nightingale Luminaries.

DispatchHealth and the University of Colorado Denver had one luminary each.

The 24 are among 57 luminaries from across Colorado at the state Nightingale Luminary Awards and Gala on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Grand Hyatt Denver. 

Tickets, tables and sponsorships for the the state event can be purchased online through early May, availability permitting. 

The Colorado Nurses Foundation administers the Colorado Nightingale Luminary Awards and convenes the statewide committee that selects 12 recipients of the Colorado Nightingale Award. The Central Colorado Area Health Education Center solicits nominations across its four regions and each year designates up to 24 Luminaries locally.
